Organic Farm in Lyme, New Hampshire
Welcome to our Acorn Hill Farm web site. This is our new way of introducing you to our old New England Farm. We are a Certified Organic Farm that grows produce for some of the finest restaurants, most discriminating cooks and forward thinking health care establishments in the Connecticut River valley.

When the WINTER is cold and snowy, we enjoy a fire in our fireplace, while our micro-greens grow in our warm and snug greenhouse. We also plan out how we will grow this year’s crop of vegetables.
In the SPRING we are treated to emerging colors. The grass turns green. The trees develop their shroud of leaves and eventually the blossoms that invite the honey bees, who have been wintering in nearby hives, to feast on their sweet nectar.
As SUMMER on our farm approaches, and the days grow longer, we work long days on the farm, tilling, planting, tending, and harvesting, and then as crops mature starting the cycle over again by planting two, three and sometime more succession crop in the same patch of garden. We hope for rain every night, and sun every day.
With the arrival of FALL the shorter days and cooler temperatures prompt the leaves to turn spectacular shades of yellow, gold, russet, and red. When fall turns towards winter the colorful leaves fall to the ground where they mix with other plant material in our compost pile so they can contribute to another generation of crops the colors are spectacular.
